I had the opportunity with a friendly group to visit the National Park Cerro Campana . Its forest humid tropical is formed by mountains of volcanic origin with important vitally important hydrographic river basins for the operation of the Panama Canal. The fauna that is in the National Park Cerro Campana is composed by monkeys,nd more than 175 species of birds, the reptiles are represented by the Golden frog, species that only can be in this area. The Valley of Antón can be visited to see this species more close by. The trip only took 30 minutes from the City of Panama, by the Pan-American Highway, we were registered in the ANAM (Autoridad Nacional del Ambiente)) where we pay a small amount for the protection of the area is pleased. The small expedition had the intention to raise the Hill de la Cruz, where it was possible to be observed the Pacific Ocean and all the coast of Chame until Azuero. It is an incredible experience. I recommend it to that it likes to be related to the nature and to enjoy moments adventures being watched ebullient verdure, the song of the birds with its multicoloured plumage, and knowing more its biological diversity. What I can add that the ascent was not easy, is a place with many rains and the muddy Earth this and slippery one. It is needed good physical training conditionses to raise. But it was worth the pain to arrive at the Cross and to see the landscape.
