We constantly receive views on my site and several people ask me what
are the requirements to obtain an immigrant visa with permission to
work in the Republic of Panama?
Requirements for an immigrant visa with a work permit according to the order of the Ministry of Labor and Workforce Development.
Remember all processing of this type requires a Panamanian lawyer.
Some terms you must know before you read these requirements are:
Certified check or Management: Issued by a bank at his request. The bank guarantees payment on the check, these checks have a fee of 1 to 5 dollars depending on the bank.
Criminal Records: criminal records.
Paz
y Salvo of the Social Insurance Fund: Certificate issued by the Social
Insurance Fund which state that the person has no debts to the
institution.
Paz y Salvo national: certificate issued by the Ministry of Finance which state that the person has no tax liabilities. Apostille: International Convention for the recognition of foreign documents. See if your country has ratified this convention.

Who
has not seen the National Geographic television program called
"Megastructures", better known in Spanish as Super Structures. I got the video that speaks of the Panama Canal operation and plans for expansion.
It is an entertaining way to learn more about the Panama Canal, the video (spanish) is divided into 5 parts of about 10 minutes each. Telling
the story of two ships transiting one of the Atlantic to the Pacific
Ocean and other ships transiting the Pacific to the Atlantic. In addition to showing the powerful machinery that uses the Panama Canal. The
first part of the video gives an introduction of the Panama Canal, the
ships transiting types, hazards and the basic operation of the Panama
Canal.
The
second part of the video speaks further on the characteristics and
dangers that have some boats, and the precautions to have the Panama
Canal to ensure safe passage.

We have videos of the history of the Panama Canal narrated by History Channel. The videos only speak about the Panama Canal construction and not about treated. Sorry but I could not find an English version of these videos. The first video talks about Ferdinand de Lesseps and the beginning of the French canal.
The second video talks about the problems of the French canal and the start of construction of the canal by John Stevens.

Diablitos espejo's dance is religious dance origin in the city of Portobelo. This city was of vital importance to the Spanish colonization between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, where all the gold and silver from the New World was transported by mules along Camino de Cruces, Panama, continuing on the river Chagres by small boats, to reach Portobelo, where it was shipped to Spain. As a point of vital commercial importance became one of the greatest centers of religious activity, this is where the dance was born Diblito Espejo, specifically in the festivities of Corpus Christi. This dance was created for the evangelization of the new world and to represent the eternal struggle between good and evil to the American Indian (indigenous), using bright colors and shiny, the passage of centuries would be replaced by mirrors that are currently used. The feeling of the dance is to focus on the aspect of fear that they have the masks while performing Hispanic African movements with the feet and waist.
